I use comedy as a vehicle to discuss larger issues affecting our world. I often find inspiration in classical plays and look to revamp them for a contemporary audience.

Bebe Loves Ben

Bebe Loves Ben, a romcom based on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, is a love letter to community theatre, chosen family, and the enemies-to-lovers trope. When exes and sworn enemies Bebe and Ben are cast as romantic leads in their community theater musical, their friends hatch a plan to get them back together. Winner of the 2024 Nina Lo Presti Award.

When a side-effect in Ozempic turns much of LA’s population into bloodthirsty zombies, a timid scientist is unwillingly thrust into the spotlight as she struggles to find (and sell) a cure. A satire about wellness culture and the way we handle national emergencies.
